The Saints take the top seed in the NFC at 7-1 with a win over previously undefeated Rams. Here is this year's parity cycle, which was actually rather difficult to find.
1) Los Angeles Rams
2) Oakland Raiders
3) Cleveland Browns
4) New York Jets
5) Denver Broncos
6) Arizona Cardinals
7) San Francisco 49ers
8) Detroit Lions
9) Green Bay Packers
10) Chicago Bears
11) Seattle Seahawks
12) Dallas Cowboys
13) New York Giants
14) Houston Texans
15) Indianapolis Colts
16) Washington Redskins
17) Carolina Panthers
18) Baltimore Ravens
19) Pittsburgh Steelers
20) Cincinnati Bengals
21) Miami Dolphins
22) Tennessee Titans
23) Jacksonville Jaguars
24) New England Patriots
25) Kansas City Chiefs
26) Los Angeles Chargers
27) Buffalo Bills
28) Minnesota Vikings
29) Philadelphia Eagles
30) Atlanta Falcons
31) Tampa Bay Buccaneers
32) New Orleans Saints
There were a couple reasons finding this cycle was tough. This last game meant that the Saints with their 6 other wins couldn't be used anywhere else in the cycle. Also there were a couple ties this year. Specifically the Packer's vs Vikings tie made things tough because they haven't played their second game yet. Lastly there were several division rivals with BOTH games in November and December. Cowboys and Eagles have yet to play. Bills and Dolphins have yet to play. Lions and Bears have yet to play. And the list goes on. This makes finding a parity cycle much harder, because often these pairs will split those two game which opens up many more combinations to link them to other teams. And even if only one of the games has been played there is typically parity within each division that can easily chain together.
